CHARLBURY RIVERSIDE FESTIVAL - Two days of live music (Saturday and Sunday, always in July) in the beautiful setting of the millfield. Free admission on both days. Great music from local and national bands, stalls, wide choice of food and a real festival atmosphere. Fantastic weekend for adults, kids and families.

CHARLBURY BEER FESTIVAL - The great local beer festival held at Charlbury Cricket Club. This year's festival offered 48 beers, ciders, wines, Pimms, soft drinks and a variety of hot food. A great family day out. Starts at noon. Money raised goes to support local causes.

CORNBURY MUSIC FESTIVAL - The famous Cornbury Festival now takes place at Great Tew - check out their website for latest details. Acts for the 2014 festival included Jools Holland, Simple Minds, Gipsey Kings, Arrested Development, Suzanne Vega, 10cc, and many more.

CORNBURY PARK - Although the Cornbury Festival has moved to Great Tew, other events take place regularly in Cornbury Park, including the excellent Wilderness Festival. Visit the Park's website to see what events are coming up.

WILDERNESS FESTIVAL - A very eclectic, refreshingly different type of country festival with music, theatre, talks & lectures, masked balls, celebrity chef meals, and many surprise events. Discover the wilds of Cornbury park with guided nature talks/walks, boating and skinnydipping in the lakes, etc., etc.

FIRST GREAT WESTERN TRAINS - Charlbury's main link to the outside world with regular trains from London, Oxford and Worcester. Check to see if trains are on time on the Live Departure Board.

BUS COMPANIES - Charlbury is served by Pulhams Coaches (Witney and Chipping Norton) and the Stagecoach (Oxford) S3 bus route.
